Colombia Visitor Visa (Type V) document required

 

To apply for a Colombia Visitor Visa (Type V), you will need
to submit the following documents:

  1. Completed
    Visa Application Form
  2. Valid
    Passport
    : Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond
    your intended stay in Colombia.
  3. Two
    Recent Passport-sized Photographs
    : The photos should be 3 cm x 4 cm
    with a white background, taken within the last three months.
  4. Proof
    of Travel Itinerary
    : Confirmed round-trip airline tickets or other
    travel arrangements.
  5. Proof
    of Accommodation
    : Hotel reservations or an invitation letter from a
    host in Colombia.
  6. Financial
    Evidence
    : Bank statements from the last six months demonstrating
    sufficient funds for your stay.
  7. Additional
    Documentation
    : Depending on the purpose of your visit:
    • For
      business: An invitation letter from a Colombian company.
    • For
      academic purposes: A certificate of enrollment or acceptance.
    • For
      medical treatment: Documentation related to the treatment.
    • For
      visiting family or friends: Proof of relationship.
  8. Yellow
    Fever Vaccination Certificate
    : Required if traveling from a country
    with a risk of yellow fever transmission.
  9. Translation
    of Documents
    : All documents must be in Spanish or translated by a
    certified translator.

The application can be submitted online or at a Colombian
consulate or embassy. Visa fees vary depending on the application method
and duration of the visa. Processing times can range from a few weeks to
several months, depending on the volume of applications and specific
